Our history so far..
We started from humble beginnings
Best friends since High School, we’ve always been passionate about events. After both working in the events industry since leaving school, we decided in 2018 to start our own Marquee hire company and called it Marquee Events.
Marquee Events ran successfully for 3 years, earning awards and a reputation in Yorkshire for providing luxurious marquee hire for parties and weddings.

However...
In 2020, when the pandemic hit, the government introduced a national lockdown, and so we had to diversify as gatherings, weddings & events were banned.
Thinking on our feet, we began to manufacture marquees instead of hiring them out, providing large testing and vaccination centres across the country for the government & local councils, amongst others.
Our new venture was called Marquee Structures, which proved to be very successful and is still going today! In fact, this business of ours manufactures all of the superb marquees that we use here at Marquees North.
When weddings and events eventually came back, we were so overwhelmed with how busy our manufacturing company was that we decided to sell our beloved hire company to solely concentrate on manufacturing.
But we missed it, and you missed us!
And so, having had time to now build up a supportive and successful management team around us, we soon decided that we missed being in the thick of it, building amazing marquees and running events… and it turns out you missed us too!
So in 2023, we re-launched under our new name of Marquees North.
And the rest as they say, is history!
